Trevelyan Grange is to the northeast of Morpeth, a pretty town with the River Wansbeck meandering through it. Our lovely family homes are just a 10-minute walk from the town centre, so the local amenities are literally on the doorstep.

Morpeth has the advantage of a train station on the East Coast mainline and it's close to the A1 – which bypasses the town – for journeys further afield by car, so you will feel well connected to, and well protected from, this busy route. A hometown with schools, shops, leisure facilities, history and character are a great combination of features and there’s something for everyone. Northumberland’s east coast is an easy drive from Morpeth and if you want to head inland, exploring the Northumberland National Park makes an excellent day out.

Leisure

Morpeth's Sanderson Arcade provides a great choice of shops in a lovely setting and the modern Wednesday market is just a stone's throw from the 13th century Chantry where you'll find the town's Bagpipe Museum and Northumbrian Arts and Craft Gallery. Also in the town centre you'll be able to enjoy the delights of Carlisle Park with its river boating, tennis courts, bowls and colourful gardens. Slightly further afield, the surrounding area boast a wealth of country estates and gardens such as Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens, Wallington House and Woodhorn Museum Archives and Country Park. And you're not far from the coast either – just 20 minutes away by car, Druridge Bay's stunning 7 mile stretch of golden sand and dunes is sure to impress.

Transport

Transport couldn't be more convenient with Morpeth's railway station just a short walk away from Trevelyan Grange with its regular services to Newcastle, London King's Cross and Edinburgh. The nearby A1 takes you south to Newcastle on Tyneside and to north to Alnwick.
